About us
At Dr. Sofia's Daycare and Learning Center, we empower the working families in Pakistan through full day childcare, preschool education, after school support, educator training, and community learning programs.
We care for children from 90 days to 12 years in a safe, clean, and nurturing environment where every day is filled with play, learning, reading, creativity, movement, friendships, emotional growth, and meaningful screen free experiences.
Our programs include Full Day Childcare, Playgroup to Kindergarten, Grade School Preparation, After School Learning Support, reading enrichment, and recreational activities designed to help children grow socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively, creatively, and academically.
Our educators are extensively trained in house on a learning approach inspired by early childhood practices from Ontario and Nova Scotia, Canada, and enriched by Early Childhood Leadership studies from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Our curriculum draws from Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences Theory, Vygotsky's scaffolding approach, and Pat Mackdowny's IMLS framework.
Beyond our classrooms, we are committed to empowering the adults who shape children's lives. Through our Early Childhood Educator and Leadership programs, and in collaboration with Team How-To, an initiative led by members of our own team, we offer workshops, seminars, short courses, and discussion circles that supports parents, educators, caregivers, and curious life long learners with knowledge, perspective, and practical tools for everyday life.
